| Raven Hall Hotel
The Raven Hall Hotel located in Ravenscar is well established with pleasant decoration throughout, therefore the need to disturb all that and the day to day running of the business was not a prospect they were looking forward to in order to fit additional fire detection in part of the hotel. With this is mind they looked at the possibility to install a wirefree fire alarm system in the area required and have this interfaced with their current hardwired fire alarm system. The price for a wirefree fire alarm system was comparative to that of a hardwired system once the closure of part of the hotel and redecoration had been considered. The other advantage is that once the funds are available another section of the hotel can be brought up to standard and so on until the whole hotel is running off one system. Therefore the Raven Hall Hotel went for the wirefree option and have the 2 fire alarm systems running side by side with a view to roll out the wirefree system throughout the whole hotel eventually working with one fully compliant system.
