St Giles Church

The problem:
St Giles Church recently suffered from an incident where lead was stolen from the roof. In addition to this the church didn't have any fire provision. They wanted a system that would address both problems without any disruption to the building decoration.

The solution:
SSSystems working under the guidelines set out by one of the countries leading insurers within this sector developed a combined fire and security system to combat theft and arson. The work involved the installation of an internal fire and security systems plus an external system to protect against the theft of lead from the roofs. The systems are primarily wireless to assist in installation time and to minimise the effect on the building fabric. The job was recently completed over a 4 day period within budget constraints typical of a small/medium church.
